THERMOELECTRIC POWER GAUGES TPG


      These devises are intended for thickness measurement of conducting and non-conducting coatings on industrial wares of the complicated form, for the control of decarburizing activity of the hardening salt baths taking into account the residual contents of carbon in the heat-treated steel belt, for express-evaluation of the silicon contents in carbon steels and cast iron while melting, for the division of the alloys into the marks. These devises are applied at the machine-building, machine tool and metallurgical enterprises. Each devise is delivered together with one transducer that intended for solving of specific task of testing.
      Work of the devices is based on measurement of thermo-electromotive force at contact of the transducer electrodes with a surface of the product under testing. During the measurement first electrode has environment temperature and the second one is heating up; the given temperature difference is 50 , and there is an opportunity to increase or reduce it when necessary. The dependence of thermal electromotive force that arises in the circuit, on contents of the tested impurity or on the thickness of the coating that is applied on the product is used.
