Eddy current defectoscope FD-3


FILD OF APPLICATION

      Defectoscope FD-3 allows to detect surface, subsurface defects such as cracks in ferromagnetic details.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

      The principle of operation of defectoscope is based on eddy current method. The control is performed by moving the transducer on the surface of detail.

DESIGN

      Portable device FD-3 consists of pencil-type transducer and electronic unit. The output voltage of the transducer, after processing in the electronic unit, is displayed. There are light (LED) and sound indication of the presence defects.

ADVANTAGES

      The small size of transducer allows detect defects in inaccessible areas of complex shape products, including the low-purity class of controlled surface, as well as under the insulating coating (paint, plaster, etc.) with a thickness up to 8 mm. Defectoscope has a minimum of settings and adjustments. The transducer has a wear-resistant working surface.
